I’ve been making chocolate smoothies nearly everyday, but today I had the most luscious vegan chocolate smoothie ever. My smoothies don’t taste the same twice. I don’t fixed recipe for them. I just threw in the ingredients together and if it’s too sweet I add more water, if it’s too bland I add more dates.
So before I forget what I threw in the blender, here’s my recipe for the Luscious vegan chocolate smoothie.
- 1 Large Banana
- 5 Soft Dates
- 1 Cup Soy Milk
- 1/2 Tbsp raw cocoa powder
- 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- Mint leaves
Just blend them all in and enjoy the Luscious vegan chocolate smoothie.
N.B. The use of soy milk causes the chocolate color to look pale. Add more cocoa powder if you prefer it darker.
