Healthy Chocolate Smoothie with Mint

The craze for healthy smoothie recipes goes on. Today, I looked at our fruit baskets and all I could see was apples, and oh! bananas. Great! I wanted to make a smoothie but there were no other fruits to make it flavourful. Then I remembered my friend, Hazel’s smoothies with oats. So I decided to give it a go and I was sold!

So here’s my Healthy Chocolate Smoothie recipe − with mint.

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 tbsp rolled oats
  • 1 cup homemade almond milk
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tsbp cocoa or carob powder
  • 2 mint leaves

All ingredients are raw.
